Lacoste
Royal Ginger Pringle was a stand out performer last season. Getting him to sign would be a bit of a coup for us. I'd think he's more likely heading for a team fighting for playoffs.

Who's that then? or are you just going on alphabetical order?

I imagine Ipswich, Norwich / Middlesbrough, Derby, Wolves or Burnley would be pretty strong possibilities to consider at this stage. Maybe Cardiff, Forest, Birmingham or Blackburn.

You're speculating yet the cold hard fact that Brentford were a playoff chasing side last year and you chose to ignore them.

Remarkable

I don't know who's going to be near the top, but I would not predict Reading to be among them. I suspect any of the top 8-10 from last season would be a more attractive prospect than Reading.

Pringle is a great jumper, could be useful at corners, or even for goalposts.

Promoted sides who do well often struggle with second season syndrome. Add in Brentford's small size and manager change and i think they'll be doing exceptionally well to replicate this season.

Wolves on the other hand are much bigger and weren't below this level long.

Anyway. The point is, even if you don't agree with all my picks or think I've left some out... it's not hard to come up with half a dozen clubs with a good chance of being in the mix. Certainly better options than the likes of us right now anyway.

So according to you guys reading aren't going to sign anyone as they will all go to bigger clubs than us, we have to sign someone, and all the gd released players can't go to bigger clubs there squads or wage bills will not be big enough to accommodate all of them

Not at all, that's a huge oversimplification. Many players will be signable, however a relatively high profile (for the champ) player the quality of Pringle who's had a good season is likely to be headed to a better club than Reading.

I don't think he was alone in that, very few people would have tipped Wigan for being away from the playoffs this year let alone relegation.

I did say it was too early qnd very tentative. And got several clubs that did finish in the top 8.

How did you do?

Just admit you got it wrong, like most things

Fulham will be right back in it this year. Their squad is too good to be where they finished. An anomaly of a season i recon.

So Bolton also don't have a keeper.
