by Royal_jimmy » 16 Mar 2016 23:04

He has been profilic in the lower leagues for some time now and one of the top scorers in league one. He is also at a good age with his best years to come

Worth a bid for in the summer?

If Barnsley don't go up then we should do what we can to bring this guy in.

If Barnsley don't go up then his name lies.

On that alone I wouldn't want him.

Isn't Michael Gash from Barnet more our kind of player? Least you know what to expect with a name like that.

Without doubt. I see he's a Wolverhampton lad - could probably see him more likely to go to a bigger midlands club (Villa?)

Shame Barnsley went up. We should have tried to get this guy in January

Not sure Barnsley would accept a couple of stamps and a night with Lady Satsuma as a transfer fee.

Doom, gloom and more gloom.
How much did Brian spend (waste) on Kermorgant?
How much did Rekels cost?
There is no reason to assume that our new manager will have no money to spend.

Parachute payments were four years, so this will be the last one and it'll be down to about £6m - £8m iirc. Also didn't the owner's recent statement place rather heavy emphasis on the youth structure and not spending big?

You'd have to be very pessimistic to think there'll be no money at all, but equally you'd be a moron to think we'll be spending a great deal.
