WestYorksRoyal Signings like this all come down to character, hunger and fitness. We need Michael Morrisons, Ian Hartes and Jason Roberts' joining us.

We don't need Danny Drinkwaters, Jeff Hendricks and Scott Danns.

I have no idea which category Ajayi would fit in. In Brian Carey we trust.

Pretty much this.

For every Drinkwater, Dann, Hendrick and Meyler there's a Carrol, Griffin, Leigertwood and Khizanishvilli.

I would say you could probably count double the first lot to the last lot. Which doesn't mean you shouldn't sign older experienced players, you just need to be bloody careful and discerning. And have faith in your Rinomhota, Craig's, Olise's and Abrefa's if the right older player isn't available.

Pepe the Horseman
LightwaterRoyal Thought he was brilliant a few seasons ago but this just screams Nabby Sarr at me and I'd much rather we signed younger players with a point to prove that are surplus to requirements elsewhere.

I'd completely forgotten about Sarr. He played 24 games for us

Scored the winner and only goal in an away win at Millwall.

Naby is now living it up at Al-Markhiya in the Saudi pro-league.

His agent talking up us and Hull as possible destinations.

Am I getting ahead of myself thinking we could beat Hull in the race? Obviously they're a division higher, but they're the ones with a chaotic owner at the start of their decline, while we're the ones on our way back. I'm expecting all 3 promoted sides to survive, so the likes of Hull should be very concerned.

Given Hull don't even have a manager at the moment, whilst it doesn't stop players joining a club, I would have thought they would want to wait and see who they will be working for first and if they would even fit their plans.

So if we are in for him, that is a bonus for us - money talks though and I would imagine Hull can pay more.
