Reading have expressed an interest in signing 29 year old Livingston goalkeeper Jérôme Prior on a free transfer.

He has an automatic contract extension if they get promoted so may not be a free transfer.

I hope this would be as backup because he's not as good as Pereira

I can't see Button stay. I wouldn’t be surprised if he retired, he's going to struggle to get a gig on a decent wage anywhere he can be first choice or back up.

I get the feeling CBC will depart, but that's a guess. I struggle to see anyone taking him on loan and giving him much game time given his performances.

He's spent the bulk of his career playing in the top flights in France, Poland and Greece as well as the second tier in France and Spain so I'd imagine he's probably up to League 1 standards.
