Brogue I’ve been burnt before saying it will be ‘today’, but I’m told it will be. Put it this way 2 are having medicals today. The expectation is they will announced today.
A CB and a CF
Don’t know the names yet: trying to find out
Assuming the cb is that lad from Swansea but waiting for confirmation And assuming cf is Keane. Let’s see
Will let you know

Sutekh The other CB possibility is Benn Ward though I actually suspect he’ll move to Wigan.
In the perfect world (ie Reading had money) it would probably be him and Hale.

Does anyone know how much money we actually have? Nobody knows the net worth of Rob and Todd, nor what investors since have committed.
We paid fees for Lane and Marriot, plus Ritchie will be on good wages. I get the feeling money is available for the right player, but with a general preference for cheaper options.
So perhaps it could be that Benn Ward lad if he is 21 and seen as high potential. Put it this way, Santos may not have a fee, but he could have higher wages and certainly won't have any resale value. For a permanent transfer, which is better business sense?

Hope it's not Santos, seen some pretty negative comments about him.

Santos on a perm deal seems like decent business.

As long as he can a) get & keep fit and b) his legs haven’t “gone”.

Hound Striker does sound like it could be Keane - any more info on that?

South Coast Royal If it is Will Keane (very well thought of in his earlier career and ex-Wigan so quite likely) it becomes a bit worrying that we are starting to be a bit top heavy with older players (see also Marriott, Ritchie, 2x Williams, Yiadom and possibly Santos) with Pereira, Wing and O'Connor heading towards their late 20s.
O.K. for survival at this level and possibly for a play-off push but not exactly building a potential Championship side.
