Ian Royal don't like it, don't look. The rest of us are mildly entertained by it.

I guess even simpletons find the same joke funny 500 times. Continue all.

TBM Comment From Neilsthings
Hi Jonny ... you didn't answer Guest's question: is McD. definitely staying at RFC? Thanks

Jonny Fordham:
Yes, so we're told. He has agreed a three-and-a-half year deal

for some reason my question relating to his tweet that said that Brian had held talks with wolves on monday evening seems to be getting moderated

The Guardian are now running with the Steve Bruce for Wolves story.

I would imagine that the position is that Brian has verbally agreed a 3.5 year deal with Reading and today they are sitting down to hammer out the finer points.

I would hope that there will be announcement made to allay fears at some point later today as the players are back in training tomorrow and will most likely be as confused as the rest of us which won't do preparation for Middlesbrough any good.

Until the club have hammered out those finer points and have Brian's autograph on it they will not announce anything (remember Mark McGhee).

Therefore JF is correct in his report that a deal has been agreed but as ever until the signature is on the paper it ain't done and dusted.

I'd imagine the players will find out in a way pther than twitter or the official site

All we learnt from the Fordham webchat was that he is standing by his EP story that BMcD has been offered and agreed a new contract. Would not be drawn on the lack of official confirmation from the club. Some bookies still have BMcD at quite short odds although most seem to be drifting out a little.

From what we've been told, I would say the chances are 80%+ in favour of him staying.

M Brook All we learnt from the Fordham webchat was that he was only answering the easy questions and not posting the others.

Thank you but given that he ducked my question, I'd already worked that one out!

FTR I asked him why his story in the EP clearly said that BMcD had agreed the new contract while on the webchat he was only prepared to say that BMcD had been offered a new contract. Was he backtracking, if only a little?

It was interesting at the start when asked for a timeline of events that he said that he was told on Monday that McD was going to Wolves.

Odds on Roy Keane are shortening. Down to 3/1 2nd favourites with SkyBet.

Why would anyone bet with Skybet, they seem to always have the worst odds!
