Seems this is the original article which New Poland Express links to.

Son of billionaire from St. Petersburg, owner of English club Reading FC, is interested in purchasing Lechia. According to unofficial information, is willing to pay for the Gdansk club up to 8 million
This is another episode related to the sale of white and green. Buyers of the stock market now appears Józef Wojciechowski, a German consortium ETL Gruppe owned by Franz-Josef Wernze, closer to the Qataris and unspecified bytowski Drutex. But I never was one so rich, ready to spend so much money for playing the PGE Arena club.

This 30-year-old son of tycoon cellulose from St. Petersburg

For several weeks talk about a possible acquisition of shares from majority owner Andrew Kuchar leads Lechia Anton Zingarevich. It's nearly 30-year-old son of Russian billionaire Boris Zingarevicha - Russian tycoon pulp industry, whose fortune, according to British newspapers is estimated at around 600 million euros. He is co-owner of the St. Petersburg Ilim Group, the largest pulp companies from Russia and one of the largest in the world.

In May, Anton through his company bought for about 30 million 51 percent. shares in the English club Reading FC, who last season was promoted to the Premier League. It wants to create a leading English club and the likes expand the stadium.

That although the transaction has not yet cooled, targeted families appeared Zingarevich Lechia Gdańsk. Anton was in Gdansk, watched the stadium in Letnica. According to unofficial information for Gdansk club Russians are willing to pay up to 8 million.

However, this raises the question whether such an amount to satisfy Andrew Kuchar? The late May, the city has offered its shares for 10.4 million zł (city would have to pay debts Lechia Kuchar at EUR 12 mln zł). The city offers not adopted. The German consortium ETL Gruppe took the club to offer 4.3 million, but to this proposal, in turn, agreed not Kuchar.

- While the money is huge, it is something scheming Kuchar again. In my opinion, the chances that the transaction occurs, there are 50 to 50 Russian, despite his young age is a very competent businessman. He wants to build a solid club Gdansk on the European level. Do you ultimately decide to purchase and whether Kuchar agreed to sell Lehi, perhaps we'll find out soon - tells us a person privy to talks with the Russians.

Adamowicz: I'm waiting for a declaration of Andrew Kuchar

Kuchar might want to exploit the situation to wytargowania even more money. And the Russians have a gesture that might even provide a purchase, which was made by Mikhail Zingarevich, brother and a close associate of his father Anton. In 2010 he bought at a charity auction photo taken by then-president, and the present Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev (in the 90s he worked as a lawyer in Ilim Group) for only ... 1.2 million. Although the purchase should be treated as an investment in political relations, that it shows how money has Zingarevichów family.

Russian interest in the club itself does not comment. - Cut off from any speculation. Normally the club prepares for season - tells Michael Lewandowski, a spokesman for Lechia Gdańsk.

In turn, municipal officials are waiting for developments. - Waiting for confirmation or denial by Andrew Kuchar new information about potential buyers of the club. There are no declarations on his part could mean the weakening of the club at the start of the league. Uncertainty associated with the future certainly is not conducive to relationships with players and supporters club - says Paweł Adamowicz, mayor of Gdansk.

Russian businessmen are increasingly investing in clubs around the world. The best known example is Roman Abramovich, who since 2003 is the owner of Chelsea.

Could be a good league to loan out our young players to for first team experience. Maybe not so good if we are going on to talk about the potential abuse from the fans if Panorama was anything to go by.
