If we don't sign anybody tonight who's going to lump on Adkins getting the sack by Christmas? Obviously not his fault, but he'll be accountable when we're mid-table because we can't score fcuking goals because Anton/Hammond are too incompetent to find a striker

Who the fcuk sells their best centre-back on the final day of the window and doesn't have a replacement lined up?

We are a joke!

Why isn't it Adkins fault? If he's been going for deals we don't have the finances for, it's his fault for not pursuing cheaper options.

We don't have a clue about any moves that have fallen through, let alone the reasons for their failure, so lay off the blame game

You have to wonder what sort of sad, lonely, pathetic excuse of a life-form has enough time to have 16359 posts on a football forum for a team he isn't even a fan of.

Surely deals fall through all the time, doesn't necessarily mean we don't have solid contingency plans we're in the process of working through though. Right?

Like the contingency plans for signing a striker? Or for our best CB leaving? Or for our 2nd best winger leaving?

Not saying we have one! Just that deals falling through on deadline day must be super-common and because earlier deals fell through doesn't necessarily mean its game over. Y'know, domino effect and that.

And the windows not closed yet. And there's still loans after that. And it's not like we've, you know, lost anyone who's had any sort of positive impact this season.

Also, surely if we've given up on getting anyone, Adkins wouldn't be fvcking about in the hotel and would be at home with his feet up.

Just chill out. They're working in it. What will be will be.
