kwik-silva He didn't play at all last season and hasn't been at this level for a long time. Even then his goalscoring record is poor and he's not exactly the big target striker people are calling out for.

Considering some of the other threads on this forum this seemed sane at the time, and I admit I may have been duped.

Barry the bird boggler Does Jimmy Quinn still play....

Watching those crosses coming in on Sunday played to a big man at the far post (when we don't have a big man at the far post) my thoughts turned to Jimmy-what a shame he is not 10 years younger.

Nicky Forster is still playing and WWBAP

Probably still better than Nige's current options for Wednesday...

AND... Lingfield have also got Lee Sidwell, elder brother of......

FORMER Reading and Brighton striker Nicky Forster has signed for Sussex County League Division One side Lingfield for a second time.

The former Brentford player-manager, who scored seven goals in four games during a previous spell with Lingfield back in 2011, is now set to make his second debut for the club against Lingfield's local rivals, East Grinstead Town, tomorrow night (Tuesday).

HE'S BACK: Nicky Forster (pictured here with Lingfield manager Dixie Dean) has rejoined Lingfield, where he enjoyed a brief, but prolific spell in 2011. 1552975

.
Forster has most recently been manager at Blue Square South side Dover Athletic, but has been without a club since being placed on gardening leave by the Kent side in January.

However, Forster, who started out at non-league Horley Town, has now rejoined Lingfield, much to the delight of boss Dixie Dean..
He said: "He is a great signing for us.

"He hasn't played for a while, but he will be good for us and great to have in the dressing room.

"He plays well with Danny Oakins and we are really looking forward to seeing him in a Lingfield shirt again."

Lingfield take on local rivals East Grinstead Town at Godstone Road tomorrow night, kick off is at 7.45pm.
