WoodleyRoyal personally i don't think the norwood williams partnership works very well we regularly seem to get over run in the centre of the park, would like to see it changed up tbh.

Williams and Tshibola. Simple.

Norwood is our only creative player. Williams is just pacey with little ball control. Tish I agree or Hector. Hector, Quinn , Norwood and Tish would make a good solid midfield with the pace coming from the wings

I wouldn't exactly say Norwood is creative, how many assists has he got from open play?

Considering he plays so deep, probably not many. If he was playing further up the pitch he'd get more.

Hope this one is true. Anothsuspect attitude out the door. The first step towards success is having a team that wants to play for one another. When the going gets tough, Williams stands and points the blame. If someone offers us silly money, like Derby did for another bad apple, then we'd be fools not to take it and give Brian some money* to bring in the next Hope Akpan and Marcus Williams.

* The ice rink is paid for.

:| at this. Against Brentford, Williams was the only one seemingly willing to do anything - put himself all over the park.

Potentially irritating - Williams usually hits his best form around this time of year.

Like Blackman, he's one who doesn't quite fit in. We've got better options in his position, we probably won't miss him. If someone is prepared to pay £2m then it will probably be a good deal for all concerned.

Three this season. The same number as, say, Luka Modric.

Norwood's job isn't to play the pass that sets up the goal, it's to play the pass that sets up the assist.

Hammond is playing a blinder by selling our over rated players to rival teams, thus weakening them while strengthening our team :)

We are overflowing with midfielders who can all do similar jobs.

IMO Toshiba is/will be better than Williams and we need to cut down on the idiot unbalanced squad that Steve Clarke provided for us.

Williams to Middlesbrough would therefore be a good thing in my book and if we can get £2m+ for him, even more so.

This does not mean I think Williams is useless, he isn't, but we need to sort out the overall mess of a squad we have and invest money in attack and, particularly, defence.

+1

A decent player but no more, too much head down running for me with only the occasional end product. If we can get decent money no big loss. I think a Tish Norwood combo is a better option.

Ruh-oh. Nice bit of trolling by Danny Williams. 'agent' is the missing word, in case you're wondering...

Its obviously to get a new contract, that will have a clause to release him similar to Hector if a bigger club puts an offer in.

Mate of mine is a 'boro season ticket holder and, according to the guys up there, they think Williams will be there together with Jorden Rhodes before the window closes.

Adds up when you think of George Evans coming in and the Spanish geezer on trial.
