Good News, especially if we get another £5million for the lad.

I have high hopes for Karacan.... I think he is gonna be the man.

Yep, another major players leaves and we are linked to another non-league Irishman.

Oh, the joys of being a Reading supporter.

Once again, great ambition from wigan. Something we never showed which is why we are championship fodder. Be a great signing for wigan and dave whelan if they pull it off. I am jealous.

Don't worry if Harps goes we've still got an injured Gunnarsson.

Ive got to say im getting really annoyed at the signings some of the clubs of our size are making in the Prem. Why cudnt we? That bollocks of ` have to find the player` is rubbish. Im getting seriously dis-heartened. Will lose Harper and their will be no replacement.

I reckon he's a goner. 'Boro held out for £3.5m for Cattermole, obviously to make up funds for a replacement, and after being heavily linked with Harper, can see him being the reason they held out for the extra £1m.

Arsenal get 40%, the other 60% divided by 3% on new Irish signing and 57% into Mr Mad's back pocket !

All this means is that we have lost another one of our better players never to be replaced with a like for like

George Boatang (sp?) would have been great but wages would probably HBAP.

Both Stoke and Hull have shown more bollocks and ambition than we did in 2 years in the transfer market. I hope they both stay up and reap the benefits.

Exactly. Reading fc would never sign a player like Harper, would they?

having £20 million more to spend than we did might help.

Not til the end of the season, or so we are so frequently told.

I don't get all this crap about MrMad being stingy - surely it's pretty obvious that it's not got anything to do with him, but with the fact the SC decided not to invest in the squad as he trusted he couldn't get any better than we had. Never ever has there been any suggestion from SC that he did not invest because the funds weren't there ... or have I missed something?

People having been accusing Madejski of being tight and not investing enough for nearly 20 years. Why change now.

Behave. We were told there was an almost unlimited budget for the "right player".

LOL @ that.

If you want to believe all the bollocks RFC tell you then fair enough.

Reading are small time. We think small and act small. Acting big scares us.
