I think Simon needs to go out on loan for the rest of the season to get a run of games and see him scoring goals. Perhaps Plymouth will need a replacement striker if/once BWP signs? That would be a good move IMO.

I agree, however, Simon Church hasn't been a regular goalscorer anywhere he's previously gone on loan. Toshack raved about the boys movement and reading of the game, but he doesn't score the goals. On loan yes, get him playing games, but unless he somehow develops that killer instinct, I don't feel this young lad has the bright future ahead of him that some suggest he has.

Well if that is true I see no reason why we can't go for Austin. Unless there really is so little money available that even selling Church wouldn't allow us to get him. I would then feel very disheartened at the lack of support from the chairman. Especially with the extra £3.9m left over from the sale of Sigurdsson that also isn't being reinvested.

The way that rumour reads, it is Long that Wolves are after and Church is just a smokescreen (presumably to put other people off of Long!)
