Barry the bird boggler Royals have apparently watched him in both play off games so there's definitely something in this, also we approached Peterborough to take him on loan which was rejected.

This rumour will, of course, self destruct if we don't go up.

I think a move is more likely if we don't go up.

Disagree. We've already spent a large sum on Leigertwood and we're told more cuts need to be made, so I can't see a bid in excess of £1.5m to get CMS.

CMS is out of contract following tomorrow's game. We will not have to pay a fee for him.

I would presume he's seen as Long's replacement
if we fail to win the POs and Shane leaves.

But if we go up?

CMS & Shlong would run a few defences ragged

Pretty sure CMS contract expires in 2012. If it had been due to expire this year I think Peterborough would have taken the money in January despite their promotion ambitions.

Not doing himself (or Peterborough) any favours this afternoon - two bad misses.

Post-match CMS interview suggests he'll be somewhere other than London Road come the start of next season.

Could be a good thing. That'd take Norwich outve the picture, and who would you rather play for? Reading or Millwall?

Surely if Nowich get Miller they will no longer want CMS? Especially with the quality they've got. This would mean we'd be first in line to get him provided Madejski forks out the money.

Was very impressed with him in the PO final (didn't see his second miss)
but he worked tirelessly and did get a goal, even if lucky.

If we lost Shane, he looks a decent replacement.

or

Shane and him would be some pairing.
