Have him sleep in an altitude tank at night!

He was always one for the future, who has had quite a rosey start to his RFC career. 3 goals this season <as said above>

Imagine McDermott keeps an arm round him, keeps him involved or close enough, and at the end of the season Manset goes away and gets toned, fit and nimble, comes back strong and tough as oxf*rd? Imagine that - strong target frontman, capable of standing up to big defenders, getting knock downs for fast forwards like Le Fondre or Church, and chipping in with a header or two, along with his ferocious long range shot...

Lovely.

Isn't that what people said last spring?

He did come back leaner and seemingly stronger but still hasn't appeared to make the grade. It's still early days of course, and he may well come good in some role but my only concern is how long that will take and how much we might be missing out in better alternatives whilst we wait for him (either through incoming transfers or Manset blocking a promising youth player coming through).

How long did it take Cummings to break through? He was a Rogers purchase was he not? And only this season has he made the starting line up consistently?

You're right of course, as if he doesn't make the grade in the future, we could of got some one else in, but who is to say x player won't make the grade either??

My point is in relation to the comments about how we'd get him fit and how once he's done that he'll be the real deal.
