Isn't it just a waste of money though? Can you really see him being used next season if we went up?

Jonny Fordham has just tweeted this rumour.

Really starting to believe that it may happen now.

Ian Royal I'd take Mullins on loan to give us more depth in midfield. Howard's not in the frame and I think he'd add more than Tabb. Gunnarsson isn't really up to standard to be anything other than dire emergency cover in midfield IMO. Useful to have with quite a few games coming in quick succession.

dont ever say that about gunnarson again.

His best place is now full back, and we're now extremely well covered there. The last two seasons by far his best performances have been in defence. Love him to bits, but reality is reality.

Franchise FC Our style is to play with two defensive midfielders. What happens if one gets injured ?
Changing the style is clearly not McD's first choice

I'd be happy with the 2 defensive midfielders if they can score goals like Saturday's cracker.

your statements are based on no evidence
and you are wrong. gunnarson is a god, and can play anywhere he likes for us for the next ten years.

Why the hell should he be made to retire in ten years? His next contract should be for 20 years minimum I say.

Why did he reply to your tweet in private? That could suggest he has less confidence in the deal going through.

Or that he didn't want it plastered all over the internet to protect the flow of information from his source?
