NewCorkSeth Well you answered my first question as to what merit his asinine comment had though I still disagree that our end result was so bad that our entire team should be replaced.

My second question was where the idiom "in some respects" originates. That you clearly did not answer..
To put it simply how long has "respect" been a synonym for "aspect" as the expression seems to imply.

I'm here to talk about Danny Williams, not give English lessons. Speaking of which, your first sentence doesn't make any sense.
