There could still be 13 games to play so covering all positions makes sense and I would like us to get in another hold-up striker as back-up to Roberts.
A few quid spent on loan players who may or may not end up playing could be money well spent.

Shaka's Giant Hands Jonny Fordham has just tweeted this rumour.

Really starting to believe that it may happen now.

Friday's Legacy we have agreed a loan fee with portsmouth and are talking to the player. it's a loan deal until the summer with a view to a free transfer. cardiff, palace and ipswich want him as well though.

Good work mate.

I'm glad he didn't end up at Cardiff. It was bad enough seeing Swansea reach the Premiership (although it's been a pleasure to watch them - he says through grinded teeth), but I couldn't stand to see Cardiff promoted. So seeing them miss out on a player that would improve their side at this stage of the season is a relief.

Window closes this time next week doesn't it? Wonder if Brian has his eyes on any more moves.

Who care's about Cardiff

Im happy we've signed him because he will improve OUR squad for the run-in. Valuable experience.

peterroyal76 Er no thanks!

I have now done a completely un-Hob nob thing, I have looked at the bare facts and can now see this is a good signing and a win win situation.

I apologise to all concerned and await the abuse that I deserve when he plays well nearly every game!

Although you will not get a bite from FR for that, it was really well done.

Wycombe Royal According to Palace fans, as well as coming from Reading he is also a Reading fan so it may be a dream of his to play for us. I can't confirm if he is or isn't though.......

Interesting... Have we been linked with him in the past? As for whatever reason I've always thought he'd end up playing for us.
