we have agreed a loan fee with portsmouth and are talking to the player. it's a loan deal until the summer with a view to a free transfer. cardiff, palace and ipswich want him as well though.

I'm glad he didn't end up at Cardiff. It was bad enough seeing Swansea reach the Premiership (although it's been a pleasure to watch them - he says through grinded teeth), but I couldn't stand to see Cardiff promoted. So seeing them miss out on a player that would improve their side at this stage of the season is a relief.
