Not sure I can work out who you're talking about there.

I'd guess Manset, but he was a lot more than £15k iirc and Le Fondre was a replacement for Long, not so much because Manset wasn't fit enough. And I don't think Le Fondre was over £750k anyway.

Khumalo was a loan and he wasn't unfit, just shite. But at least Gorkss cost the right amount. I think Morrison was more than £15k too and his problem hasn't appeared to be fitness either.

Legs was brought in because someone else wasn't fit enough, he was made permanent.

but he seems to be saying that our policy of only paying bigger money for players who have proven experience at this level, and/or have already blended in well with our squad and proven themselevs here is wrong, and that we should go straight out and pay that for anyone, in the hope it all works out.
