Brian has spent the evening in IPSWICH persuading Jimmy Bullard he is wanted by Reading. Reading will cover his 40k wages as they look for automatic promotion.

Is this the same Brian McDermott who is also in Wolverhampton talking to them?

Perhaps Reading simply want to ensure our physios are up to Premiership standard so are tracking both Jimmy and Michael Owen.

I'm sure the conspiracy theorists are at work on RFC.... why are we being linked with long term injury prone players such as Bullard, Owen & Hargreaves?

I think its plausible, given we were in for Andrews. As a loan its fairly risk free. He gets goals, so could be crucial in final stages. I'd never want him on a perm though, greedy overrated so and so.

Odd with Brians timing, but maybe Antons gonna have to sign a large cheque to back McDermott.

No fool you! Its unfounded rumour!

Although Bullard loans got into the daily mirror! Clearly not true then!

Bullard has barely played for Ipswich this season and been in poor form when he has. A big noooooooo on this one.

Bullard - Wind-up by idiot
Owen - Wind-up by idiot
Hargreaves - Wind-up by idiot

These are my best guesses.

Agreed - there is no way Brian would want any of these players. If they arrive we will know for sure that Anton just wants to play a real game of Championship manager - in which case Brian should flee to Wolves at once.
