This has been doing the rounds on Twitter as well. He's been on an annual renewal contract at Spurs triggered by playing a certain amount of games (I believe). He wont play the required games this season and they are apparently letting him go, but I doubt we will bring him in.
We like continuity, and he would only act as back-up.
A rumour gathering pace is Matt Upson coming in, but again another with his dodgy knees.

What, bringing in experience? Whether he trains or not at least his presence around the place would be epic for the likes of Alex Pearce.
