Girl was absolutely steaming on drugs/alcohol. She willingly goes back to a room with someone to have sex - she must have then been aware at some point there were others in the room and involved too, but she was too wasted to say no/give consent.

I'm not saying what Evans did was acceptable - it was wrong and he deserves to be punished, but I feel the girl should be held slightly responsible for allowing herself to get that wasted where she is unable to give consent and that should be considered when sentencing.


Basically what I find difficult to understand, is that if a girl and a boy are equally both smashed and they have sex, the girl could press charges for rape and the bloke is seen as the offender. (I know this doesn't resemble Evans' case but just as an example)
