by LoyalRoyalFan » 27 Aug 2012 18:08

Ghana’s Isaac Vorsah is likely to leave German side Hoffenheim this week after three clubs expressed interest in the defender.

Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg are among the three clubs and are considered the most serious of the offers brought to Hoffenheim.

Newly-promoted English Reading are also reported to the in the race to sign the centre-back as they seek to boost their defence set-up.

Rival German club Hamburg are also keen on signing the defender which has heightened speculation that he could leave before the transfer window shuts on Friday.

But Red Bull are said to the the only ready to fork out the amount as coach.

The 6ft 5in Ghanaian, 24, can also play defensive midfield where he excelled in some matches for Hoffenheim.

Don't see where he'd fit in exactly, in a team where Mariappa is on the bench and almost all our CMs are defensively minded.

Agreed, but we don't know if Morrison will be here this time next week. The club is still trying to do a deal for Rhodes, which is unlikely, but they want Morrison as part of the deal, and Church has also been linked. If that did happen, we would have three experienced centre-backs plus Sweeney.

I'm sure it's yet another agent dropping out name only.
