We made an enquiry about him in the summer (Bordeaux stiker/winger) but they didn't want to sell. Now he's out of contract in the summer and understood to want to come over to the Premier League. Newcastle are interested but would be a great signing for only around £1million.

Would fit into our current formation on the wing or in a 4-4-2 as a pacy striker. Good player who would improve our squad IMO,

Only downside is he's allergic to grass

I thought BM had already commented on this guy? He turned us down in the summer. Newcastle seem to be the favourites now.

Yeah I thought it was him, rather than the team, that turned us down. He may have said he had no interest in coming to us, preferring a 'bigger' club if one came in for him. No point wasting our time if he isn't interested.

Can play in a few attacking positions in a central role or on the right hand side.

Maybe the sort of versatility we could be doing with provides plenty of pace anyway!
