Used to love watching this guy but I'm not really into 'retro' singings.

So do I, always chasing the money. As soon as he gets a new contract he gets injured.

Often the best players need to rest for a few games so as not to rock the boat too much.

But with both him and his brother here, the tarmacing of the car park could be done in half the time.

and only if you count 'well' as sitting on Chelsea's bench, falling out with O'Neill at Villa and then occasionally performing for a mediocre Fulham side when not suspended. He's probably made the most money out of any of them given his moves.

Long has probably been the biggest success of the 106 side (though he didn't feature much that season) and Doyle did well for Wolves in his first season there.

Long probably needs another season in the top flight before he can say he has been a big success from the 106 side (simply because Doyle had 2/3 seasons at the top and then look what happened!).

Whilst Sidwell didn't always feature in the starting 11 at Chelsea or Villa, he has put in a solid performance the majority of the time.

Still reckon he could do a job as a back up winger in the championship if he were keen on that idea. If he's still a free agent come July he could be offered a trial like Sonko was in 2011 (I think, might have been 2010). He played like crap in a friendly at Bristol Rovers and we knew it was a bad idea and let Ipswich take that bullet so there'd be no harm in trying something similar with Stephen Hunt.

I know it won't happen but it's what I'd do.

Also noticed that Ebanks-Blake has been released who is probably still a decent championship player.

Of course if Anton provides funds and we can sign a higher calibre of player then we won't need these but if we're tight for funds again then could be worth a try?

If we even think about resigning Stephen f*cking Hunt then I'm joining Floyd and Sandy in the STNG camp.

We've finally moved away from huff and puff players like Hunt. Leeds might be keen mind.

Relegated with Reading, then Hull, then Wolves, then Wolves...

It's a shame he's not staying there really.

Another thread suggesting going backwards.

Adkins is quite rightly not in the slightest bit interested in our past / previous glories.
