Come on Reading you know you've needed a striker or two for 3 months plus so why are you still faffing about 4 hours before the window closes

Shhh we've got another player who used to play for some of Europe's top clubs. You're supposed to be distracted by that and to forget that we need a striker.

We'll only get the dregs tonight, unless we've been trying to sort out terms with someone for a few days.

Long, Doyle, Sharp - would take any of them personally.

We may still be hampered by having Pogrebnyak and Roberts on the books and not being able to afford the wages needed for the type of quality we need.

I'm still expecting us to be dipping into the loan market once the window shuts and we know where we're stand with the others.

By which time we will have dropped further down the table. Even Bournemouth can spend £2m on a striker. We are just becoming a bit of a joke club. I though it would all change after Madjeski left but seems Squeaky ( look at my bargains) still rules.

Bournemouth don't have two strikers who aren't likely to contribute much on £30k odd a week.

That's what you get when you twiddle your thumbs for 2/3 of the window. All that shit about signing 8 players, 100 goals, record points, etc was a ruse to boost ST sales clearly.

If its true that two deals go tits up on the last day this is turning into a bit of a problem at RFC.

How can this happen in January and also now?

It suggests a real naivety. I don't remember this happening so often before for us. Are we missing Madejski's input?

It's quite frankly unacceptable.

The fact of the matter is that the fans will still turn out to watch our mediocre performances and until something changes, it will remain ACCEPTABLE.

Its complete bollocks. oxf*rd you hammond, oxf*rd you aton, oxf*rd you RFC.

Our next game isn't until the 15th. We can officially sign loan players from, IIRC, the 8th.

We never did big deals on TDD before. And we've barely ever spoken about deals that didn't come off before as well. Deals falling through happens at all sorts of clubs all the time.
