Probably missed this somewhere else, so apologies, but if McCleary is having an op this week, why didn't he have it sooner, so he might possibly be fit for start of season? And what's wrong with Guthrie - or are they paving the way to tell us these two are off?

WE have a photo of Mcleary in a hospital bed.
They took medical advice and were told it would calm down over the summer. It didn't, so operation at earliest opportunity.
Guthrie has a calf problem. Maybe it is code that he's off, hopefully for more than 500k and this afternoon.
