We need a quality winger to come in & Phillips isn't getting a game at QPR
The Sun have him linked to a move to Wolves or Wigan - would love us to hijack, even if its a loan til end of the season
He grew up not too far from here, up in Aylesbury, so a move here could appeal & he knows Pearce from Scotland setup

Yeah this would be excellent, Mccleary and him on either wing 
We can have the best wingers in the world but it will all be to no avail if we don't have a striker to convert those crosses into goals!

More worried of the interest in Mcleary from West Brom. Hold onto your hats!
Phillips would be a terrific signing - must have really gone off the boil not to at least be making the bench at QPR though.
I work with a guy who's best mate with him and his Dad and he nearly signed up when we hit the Prem for the second time and a loan nearly happened in the past as well so there is history

Aways wondered about him. He and Tom Ince looked the dogs for Blackpool, but haven't been able to cut it at a higher level. Still wouldn't say no, however.
both Philips and Ince are available for loans this month! surely the finances are possible for one to fill the left hand side gap

BBC Derby Sport: QPR have turned down an initial approach from Derby for either Matt Phillips or Junior Hoilett on loan.
