jonesey321 " Swindon Town have released 10 players including top scorer Andy Williams and goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
Striker Williams, 28, scored 22 goals in 53 appearances this season, having signed for the club in June 2012."
Good goal scorer, possibly pick him up on a free? Could be what we're missing at our ST role - a goalscorer.

Hoop Blah I've not seen a hell of a lot of Williams but I remember looking at his goals ages ago (I think he was talked about on here as it happens) and he strikes me as a similar player to Murray or even Lambert (but not as good as either).
We need someone with the ability to lead the line in the way Murray did for us and so if he's available on a free he may well be worth a punt. we might need to get rid of either or both of Robson-Kanu and Blackman, or even Cox, to make room for him but I can't imagine he'd cost a lot in wages to bring down the M4.

Nameless He will definitely join someone on a free if he's been released and is over 24.
Can't quite see why Swindon are releasing players, presumably these players have turned down contracts after Swindon failed to get promoted ?

Can't you get it into your mind that HRK, Blackman and Cox are not leaving as no-one is going to buy them and pay them the kind of salaries they are on?

Sutekh With a squad and manager more in tune with each other then just perhaps we may start to see a better Robson-Kanu next season...
