According to the Daily Star....

Juan Villar, who was linked with Derby County and Brighton & Hove Albion last month, is being tracked by Derby, Reading and Queens Park Rangers.

Rated at £1m, right winger from second division Real Valladolid. Scored 13 goals and laid on seven assists this season.

Can also play on the left and up front.

I don't know about Juan, but I'm looking forward to playing against his brother Aston next season.

When you can choose Derby and Brighton, why would you currently want to come here?

The fact we will have vitually no wingers in the squad for next year may help

Enough imports from abroad that haven't worked out this season. Need some guys that hit the ground running. Having played in the English leagues previously.

There's a couple of youngsters called Fosu and Stacey who are banging in goals in the lower divisions.

Potentially a big step up from playing for Accrington and Carlisle respectively. No reason why they cannot warm the bench at the begiinning of the season. .

Need 4 wingers. Would suggest next season's foursome are McLeary, Stacey, Fosu and another right winger, such as Villar.

Of course we may also still have Hurtado if no-one's interested in buying him - and given he's barely put in an appearance in Portugal that is quite possible.

John is an outside shout but I can't see us being able to afford the whatever it is that Benfica would want for him (rumours suggest it might be as steep as £3m) when there is so much other stuff to be done with the squad.

think this is probably how we will/should set up next year. ensure a quality 1st choice for every position, with a yoof player as back up
apart from where we have a young player as 1st choice such as obita/evans, then we should have an experienced back up
