Windermere, yeah, and I'm starting to get tired of it, tbh.
First off, it's not his sole decision alone on which players we should sign anyway.
When he joined, the club wouldn't have given him that level of power based on his prior record and unfamiliarity here.
Managers get frustrated at times. It's not unusual for them to not to get the exact players they would have liked. Clubs miss targets, for various reasons. It happens, and you get on with it, pull together, and make a fist of it.
Maybe he's being realistic, etc, but he can make that known privately to the upper hierarchy.
Existing players, esp youngsters, must feel inadequate hearing this, and it can't be filling them with confidence.
It's not sending a positive vibe to them, the fans, upper management, or even the owners.
He's cracking a pretty big horse whip, for someone who's new to the country, and the Champ, and he's only been here 20-odd games, and given his prior record.
If he's considering other offers and thinking of leaving, hope he makes his mind up quickly.
If he stays, ok, but hope his demands, career, etc, won't be an on-going saga. It's going to be tough enough as it is.
