RUMOUR - Sidwell to return to Reading

by UpNorth » 20 Jan 2008 10:14

OK not very original but the Daily Star Sunday claims it could happen.

I would love it if Sidwell did come back.

Although he might struggle to get in the team now Matejovsky is in town!

But a Sidwell / Matejovsky partnership would be interesting.

Really can't see it happening though, Sidwell thinks he's too 'big' for this club now.

He won't come back, would be total humiliation.

Hasn't he already agreed to go on loan to Sunderland at the end of the month?

If he's turned down Sunderland then I think it a tad unlikely that he's going to come back to Reading with his tail between his legs

I agree! Sidwell tried at a big 4 club and it wasn't successful. He tried his best but didn't work out. No shame in coming back from a busmans holiday

Murty said that it was not a good idea, and would be difficult for Sidwell. I agree he moved on and was always going to make money for Chelsea, they should be able to get £4m for him, pay him off 500k to help in the wage drop and Charlton will be laughing all the way home, he may even get another promotion.

You sir, need to sort out your own house before insulting others. If you can find 'bafoon' in any good English dictionary I'll be surprised.

Yes but in those 10 minutes his passing of the ball was one of the best i've seen in a while.

Look, he wants to stay near his home in Wandsworth, right?

So how about he goes to AFC Wimbeldon?

I don't want to knock his impressive 10 minute cameo, but 2 words. Mass Sar.
