Derby end interest in Bodde.

Time to make our move.

Utterly bizarre comments from Derby, how DARE Swansea hold out for the best price for their player !!
IIRC Swansea said ages ago they wanted £2 million and if Derby have offered £1.5 it's hard to see how that constitutes any change in Swansea's side of things.

And I wonder whether the bit about the goal posts having changed suggests that London Irish may be a more likely destination than Reading for Bodde...

Exactly, from Day 1 Swansea have said '£2million' that's our price, Derby haven't offered that, bit like going into a shop and seeing something priced at £100 and you say can I have it for £70? Well err no actually.

With regards to 'Ding I can't see us spending £2million on him, he'll remain at Swansea unless someone like QPR decide to make a move if they can't get Watson.

The rumours from Derbys message board are that they have moved the figure at close to £3 million due to interest from Middlesbrough and Wigan?

No Chance we will pay over £1.5 million for anyone this summer

Still no reason for the comments from Derby, if they haven't even offered the original asking price then no point complaining because the commodity has become more valuable. It's not as if footballers have a 'face value' and Swansea are trying to over charge !

And I suspect there is every chance we'll pay more than £1.5 million. Nothing suggests we won't.

with th eammount of money about to flood in through transfer fees
i reckon we will be more than able to keep most of it, and still pay 2 M for a player, and a couple at ~1 M, and another couple of sub 1M bargains

but i am always optimistic

Desperate because they seem to be the only ones showing any interest in taking him away from Swansea.

we have no money remember, therefore no chance of getting anyone if they're not on frees and want peanuts for wages.
