Cold with some rain, maybe a few sunny spells if we are lucky

To be very tired when i get my first train of the day, then to no doubt see some fellow nobbers at St Pancras.

For Maguire to be hammered by the time the train approaches Derby even after he was certain he woudn't drink before the game.

To be asked by a frendly fellow behind me to sit down as I am obscuring his view. For the Reading fans to be decent in numbers and voice although songs may be repetitive.

A game of football to be payed between two Premiership teams.

A pie and a coke (no beer in the ground) to be had at half time

second half of said game

Probably some idiots throwing stuff on us again. Royalee to call Lita useless and lazy right before he scores a screamer and then Royalee to start the LEROY chants.

Full time and either we are going down or getting into Europe

sing song on the way home on the train again with a few ales sunk.

Train to run out of beer as we apprach Chesterfield again

End up in London with someone advising us to take the pink line home

Home

Day over.

This has got slip up written all over it. Our talisman striker who loves to score against them is out, Warnock is turning into a bigger media whore than ever before....I go for a 2-1 loss.

Wally's comments in the Reading Chron on this match are quite amusing

Ex-Blade sticks the knife in
By Anthony Smith

EX-BLADE Wally Downes has stoked up Saturday's clash at Sheffield United by claiming his old boss Dave Bassett was more successful than Neil Warnock (3pm ko).
Warnock is hailed as a hero in the Steel City after guiding Blades back to the top-flight after 12 years in the doldrums.
But Downes argues 'Harry' Bassett faced a much harder task when he achieved the same feat back in 1990 when the Reading coach and ex-Wimbledon midfielder was in the side.
"Harry took Sheffield up from the old third division to the first and they hadn't been there since he left until Neil Warnock got promotion last season," stated Downes.
"Warnock said it was a big achievement because they hadn't been there for 12 years but when Harry got them up they had been out of it for even longer.
"You also have to consider Harry started when they were in the old third division which obviously made it even harder because we had two divisions to climb.
"Harry also helped with the building of a new stand and what he did was an amazing achievement at that time."
Downes will step out at Bramall Lane once again this Saturday - but this the Royals coach will be prowling the touchline next to Warnock.
It is the Premiership's first contest between any of the newly promoted teams this season and critics are already calling it a potential relegation six-pointer.
Royals have won three times and drawn once on their last four visits to Bramall Lane and Downes expects Saturday's clash to be another close encounter.
He added: "Perhaps they haven't had the results they craved but Neil Warnock didn't seem to have many problems recruiting the players he wanted over the summer.
"They haven't played badly and they'll be desperate for a first home win but we want to keep our good away record up there going.
"Both league games last season were close, especially the 1-1 draw at their ground.
"We've progressed since then but Sheffield probably think they've accelerated alongside us and I think it's going to be another, tight game."
Warnock will be picking from strength and Danny Webber is the only injury victim after he limped out of last weekend's incredible 0-0 home draw against Blackburn in which the Blades missed two penalties and Rovers missed one.
Downes warned: "Phil Jagielka is always one to watch for them, but that's no secret.
"And Neil has signed about 40 forwards so I'm sure he's waiting for one of them to come good.
"But we kept a clean sheet against Manchester City and if you stop the opposition scoring you don't lose.
"Our defenders got the praise but it starts from the front with the workrate of Kevin Doyle and Leroy Lita.
"James Harper and Steve Sidwell covered acres of ground and made loads of tackles and I thought Bobby Convey and Seol worked their socks off.
"They're predominantly attacking wide men but they also now know what their defensive duties are."
Reading will field an unchanged team for the trip to Sheffield with striker Dave Kitson still struggling to overcome a knee injury.

 typical Wally!

You wouldn't be one of the two knobs directly in front of us at Villa, then? Everyone stands up - no problem at all there, but then when everyone else has eventually slid back down into their seat, they insist on remaining standing, so all that can be seen is their huge arse cheeks 12" in front of us.
Either everyone stands for all 90 minutes and it's understood by all or sit when everyone else does - it's just polite, that's all.

.
I'm going for a 2-0 win for Reading. Sheff Utd are just not up to this division and are well on the way to being Sunderland 2

we are good enought to make a greater fist of staying up than sunderland, we battered blackburn and liverpool first half. fulham got 40 odd points at home and spurs only just missed out on the champions league. given decisions we could have more points on the board

i'd like a united win but we never beat you at home so 2-2. hulse and ade, and doyle 2 for you.

as for jags the dangerman, he will be in defence most probably (although legiertwood was awesome against burn)

No no, I wasn't stood at Villa as I was in the middle of the stand due to a decent turn out. That won't be the case Saturday so I will be around the back somewhere.

Do you realise that you only need a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence and for names, not for every single word as you have done. This standard of English (note capital letter in the correct place) is really not good enough. Please see me after class!

Oddesy2k This Game Is So Important To Get At Least A Point.

The Games Coming Up Against Man U/ West Ham/ Chelsea / Arsenal / Portsmouth And Liverpool If Im Deadily Serious I Cant See Us Getting Many Points From Those 6 Games. But Dont Get Me Wrong Surpises Do Happen.

So Lets Get 3 Points And Increse The Gap Between Us And The Other Clubs

COME ON YOU R'S

BBC Match Preview

Not very positive spin on our stats:

8th 6 points
Highest achievable after Saturday's matches: 5th
Lowest could fall: 11th
1. Already doubled their tally of away League defeats last season.

2. In danger of tumbling to three successive League losses on the road for the first time since 30 September 2003 (West Ham, Sunderland and Norwich).

3. Managed one clean sheet in four League outings.

4. Only club in the top half of the table, to have lost twice.

5. Next Saturday, Reading entertain Manchester United, while Sheffield United go to Arsenal.

Good old Lawro

'Sheffield United v Reading

I suppose it would be fair to say this is a battle between two of the relegation favourites.

The Blades know that they have to win these sort of matches and I think they'll sneak it.

Match preview
Prediction: 2-1'

HEAD TO HEAD TOTALS
Home and away
League: Sheff United 10 wins, Reading 12, Draws 6
Prem: Sheff United 0 wins, Reading 0, Draws 0

at Sheff United only
League: Sheff United 6 wins, Reading 3, Draws 5
Prem: Sheff United 0 wins, Reading 0, Draws 0

2-0 Reading.

All i'll predict is that Reading won't lose. Can't decide whether it will be a draw or win, but they certainly won't lose.
