BBC Berks website

Ollie,

I rarely get the chance to listen to the footie phone-ins as they are aired so I was hoping to download them from the website but all I can find is this http://www.bbc.co.uk/berkshire/sport/re ... ndex.shtml which seems stuck in pre-season!

I know theres a "listen again" radio player link that has the last show but what about an archive?

We can't offer a permanent archive of hour-long shows through reasons of space, bandwidth etc essentially - anything that long needs to go through Listen Again, and we can't keep tens of shows on there, much as we'd like to.

We do have an archive of shorter interviews here.

A couple of footie phone-in clips have appeared on there - I'll try to do more in future with highlights from Friday night.

Oh and as for the interviews page you found, it's an old section of the site - sorry.

You can get all the up to date stuff from the Reading FC index here. (All the BBC Sport stuff AND our own in-depth stuff.)

Thanks Ollie,

I've now managed to navigate to the pages you've highlighted but it's not immediately obvious how to get to them off the Reading FC page.

I found the page I mentioned by following the featured quick links in the right hand column "LATEST INTERVIEWS LISTEN to the interviews". You might want to update those links

Thanks for the reply though - there's lots of good stuff on your pages!

I thought I'd got rid of those links... the bloody things keep popping up everywhere! Thanks for drawing to my attention, I'll sort them later today.

Ollie - are there any pictures of last years RFC Masterbrain collecting his prize from Kevin Dillon?

Was there a problem? Was the winner not photogenic enough?

Apparently there was a problem with the lens cracking when the picture was taken

Could you podcast chunks of shows/interviews for say a week or two?

I heard that the photos were in fact sexually provocative and there was a risk of BBCRB HQ being over-run with lustfully overcharged rampant females eager to get their hands on the champion's action.

No idea about Masterbrain photos. Can't see any lustfully overcharged rampant females, though. Sure I'd have noticed them by now if they were here.

Podcast - I'd love to do this but there's a BBC podcast trial and, to cut a long story short, we're not on it. Hopefully in time I'll get the nod and at the earliest opportunity after that, there'll be a BBCRB Reading FC podcast with all the best stuff from each week: Murts on Monday, interviews, coaching features, phone-in, etc.

And then you woke up, looked in the mirror again and realised that would be another one cracked
