Stranded Well if it's the same as the last away game then the following pubs will more than likely being showing it:

Butcher's Arms
Warwick Arms
Rose & Thistle
The Albion
Spread Eagle

Sheff utd game at the Warwick was awesome - they ran out of beer and cider in 2 hours and the pub was packed...good atmosphere too

all,

you want to be careful what you post about pubs that show ART/CANAL

SKY are a little fussy, if the pub does not have the beer glass symbol that sky uses on its pubs and clubs packages then they can cause lots of problems for the landlord

i recommend you PM people details of pubs that show middle east/eastern european channels and be carefilly you are PMing a regular poster

I have a feelng that there is a freedom of trade thing here if it is a EEC contry supplying and the pub has paid for the subscription to that channel.

Thats why I said they were "a little fussy" and did not say you were breaking the law

1/ Although cases have been won, it still remains cut and dry that unless you are in Wales or Northern Ireland then showing game sat 3pm on a Saturday is contravening Uefa article 48

2/ There has been much debate and uncertainty regarding the legality of using foreign satellite TV systems that enable the reception of live premiership football in the UK.

The debate has been further inflamed by the relatively recent circulation of a letter to all UK pubs - followed up by a media campaign in the press.

The apparent source of the letter is a company calling itself MPS (Media Protection Services). The general thrust of the letter suggests that ‘Sky TV is the only licensed broadcaster of live F.A premiership football matches in the UK’ and ‘the use of foreign broadcasters is illegal’

The best pub is an Irish pub just of the main square on Slawkowska.
