scutterbucket I've just had a tenner with a Chelsea fan at work that Reading win. It was a stupid bet because a draw would be an amazing result. I just can't helping telling people to put their money where their mouth is when they reckon we're gonna get a thrashing.

bollocks don't be so negative, we've got a chance.
as uri would say PMT, or just eat some crystals.

i tell you what, you lot need to have more faith in the team if i didn't know better i'd say some people wanted the team to lose so they had something to moan about.
start of the season everyone was saying how we're going to go down- wrong.
next manchester united some to town, everyone things it'll be 0-5 to united or something stupid- wrong again.
get a grip people we're not as shit as you people like to think and if middlesboro can beat chelsea why can't we?

Royalee
PREMIERSHIP_ROYAL chelsea seem to play for a draw every game, just feed doyle or lita and we should win 2-0 reading

Yes, that would be an amazing tactic to win the Premiership with, moron.

can you honestly say you've actully seen them play attractive football?

Would love to see a 2-1 result to us, but can only see a 1-1 if we manage to ride our luck !

I predict:

chelsea field a weakened team due to international injuries, and tiredness, and the upcoming champions league games against barcelona
the remaining players will believe they only have to turn up to win it
the reading crowd will temporarily deafen the chelsea defenders and keeper, who wont hear each other call for th eball and kevin doyle will nip in to score th eopener within the first three minutes.czech taken off with bleeding ears
chelsea push forward to get a goal back against the upstart royals but come up agains the wall that is sonks and ivar, the frustration builds for the champions, drogba gets sent off for an outrageous and desperate dive, a full four meters from the nearest reading player.
and lita scores a second before half time
second half, sonks scores a header from a corner, to make it three, and th edemoralised champions lose the will to win and give up, coppell brings on the subs, and brynn and long both score to make it 5-0 and take us top of the league.

No, he was right to say it was a stupid bet. He could have got better odds than evens from any bookmaker.

Reading v Chelsea

Delayed until 7 with Chelsea fans ending up in Somerset instead of Berkshire, for some reason . . .

2-2

Drogba( 1 )
Essien ( 47 )

Doyle ( 58 )
Sidwell ( 59 )

Alan Partridge The one thing that gives me and should give us all hope in this one is the way Chelsea play. I can't remember the last team they really thrashed? It's not their style. They will be extremely tough to break down so we may need a bit of luck or a bit of magic to score but who knows? Chelsea will have lots of the ball similar to United and event hoguh Chelsea's forwards will eb better than United's they won't play with the same attacking gung ho as them.

It's really the only reason the league is slightly competitive IMO, if Chelsea had the same attitude of Arsenal or United they would dish out some big thumpings and some great football but the longer they go on as they do it will give everyone who plays against them a chance.

The thing is if we do manage to nick a goal and get in front there is a great chance of us actually winning the game.

Very tight very solid and look to nick it by a goal, probably by a Fat Frank deflected goal or by a dubious penalty.

So go for a 1-0 loss but who knows, Middlesbrough turned them over so why not?

Also think a lot depends on Doyle and Seol's fitness. Seol is a matchwinner for us and Doyle at the minute really is our one up front hat can make things happen. Lita can given the service but we haven't given him anything really all season apart from 1 or 2 chances. Doyle is a key player for us though.

Fcukin knew it, don't you hate being right sometimes?!
