ArfnipIsARoyal I got a text from a Chelsea supporting mate telling us how dirty Reading were and how much we cheated throughout the game. Asked how the 'foul' on Lamplard was a freekick, he said clear contact but nearly every pundit says it was a soft decision which he made the most of. He just would not admit his team were run about by little old Reading. I used to have alot of time for Chelsea back in the Zola, Lebeouf, Gullit etc. days after being brought up by a Chelsea supporter, but now i despise what they have become, not through jealously, but how they are ruining the English game. I would let people kick me for £80k a week and not cry or over exaggerate it. Dirty cheats the lot of them!

Perhaps these Chelsea fans you mention are as biased as you lot on here. It's works the same both ways.

How can Chelsea ruin the game when they have put a lot of money back in to football in this Country?

OMG! How thick is he? Chelsea have helped the game by all the money they have put into it?!! Beggars belief. Far from helping the dodgy Russian money is ruining it.

Jerry St Clair Our new local rivals, or am I jumping the gun a bit?

Certainly all the ingredients are now there. I bet nearly all of us working in Reading will have to face a Chelsea fan at work on Monday. And I've no doubt there'll be a number of heated conversations going on around the town.

Was that a joke?

Did you see how their players and fans celebrated the win yesterday? I bet they wouldn't have gone that nuts after beating Blackburn away.

My definition of local rivalry is that you have friends and work collegues who support your rival team. And Reading probably has far more active Chelsea supporters than any other Prem team.

This is unbelievable. So the signing of players such as Ashley Cole, Glen Johnson etc don't count? Ambramovich's money paid for those players and money obviously went to those respective clubs to invest in what they wish. Whether it's their Youth Academy or other players.

Harold Reading's game plan was to be physical yesterday and stop Chelsea from playing - now you're all moaning Mike Riley gave us lots of free kicks and most of them rightly so.

Nothing like a moderate, unbiased viewpoint. There was hardly a bad challenge in the game. Even the Sidwell 'foul' that had Chelsea so enraged - his foot was only as high as Cole's.

I'm not the one being blinded by the fact you're all disgruntled you lost. There was always going to be something to moan about in this game by all Reading fans if you lost. Whether it was diving (the most obvious excuse you guys would come up with) or something else.

Either you are fishing or plain stupid. We are not upset we lost. It was the manner of the loss. I think most of us expected to lose. But we expected to lose against a team with finesse, a sporting team who showed us how good they were, not a load of cheats who were diving and crying to the ref at every opportunity - even the management resorted to cheating as well at the end.

Of course they count - they're exactly what is making inflation in football rampant and pricing out ordinary supporters (as they have been at Chelsea for a good number of years already).

Football isn't anywhere near as expensive in countries that haven't been hit by bent Russian money.

how many ppl have to tell you to fcuk off before you stop posting you c*nt. you're talking out your arse about how abrahmovich is helping the game. the game was great the way it was before clubs like chelsea gave in to the russian billionaires. the character of clubs like chelsea is deteriorating by the week. you cant call that a football club, its a business that over inflates the egos of our english players by giving them more money than they know what to do with. this evidently affects their games for england as well
