This is difficult - there are about 5 players who have played extremely well during parts of the season - but you need to cover the whole season....

On balance I think its Nicky Shorey with Steve Sidwell and Ivar a close second.

Had Doyle not got injured and had Little been in the same form/given the opportunity/not been injured from pre November then one of them would have got it.

Arise Sir Nicky Shorey for England. Probably one of the most consistent players in the premiership this season, let alone for Reading.

I was pleasantly surprised how many people on here are planning to vote for the iceman. He gets my vote but I thought he may lose out on the punters because of a lack of glamour appeal. His sheer consistency is amazing. I think he has as much to do with our success this season as anyone. The fact that he only cost us £100,000 is, frankly, very, very funny.
