Here's another nice illustration of the superior intelligence of Reading players (if any 'Nobbers with a modicum of intelligence themselves actually doubted it):
Graeme Murty said "Something that has helped is that you are playing against world-class players week in, week out," he said. "If you make a mistake anywhere on the pitch it gets punished, because the guys at a higher level assimilate information much quicker."
Ask any member of the England squad what assimilate means....
He then went on to say: "I don't know a lot about the (Scotland) manager, maybe he doesn't know that much about me or the other English-based players."
But he added: "I am only responsible for what I do. It's down to the manager who he selects, if he doesn't select me then there's something I've done that I need to do better."
Most members of the England squad have egos far bigger than their intellect and would be totally unable to comprehend what Murty is getting at.
