Seems about the most average a ref can be, mind you seems to keep control and communicate better than most.

Guess that means a big punch up occuring is even more unlikely.

4th official Danny McDermid is a 1st year football league ref.The first to be allocated a premiership 4th official appointment.A big first as well should Peter Walton get injured!!

Disappointed by the officials. At least the lino in front of the East was crap in both halves.

Big team ref - let them get away with all sorts - namely the high boots, shoving Doyle off the the pitch, Carragher seemingly able to call the lino a oxf*rd with no repurcussions and generally letting them get away with fouls. Mind you, he didn't see Gunnars handball in the lead up to our goal so I guess I can't complain too much...

Gerrard pushed his luck in the decent stakes a few times too.

Thought he did alright. Not brilliant. Was over shadowed by the DREADFUL! lino, east stand side.

I actually think he was one of the best this season! Controlled the game well I feel, apart from the Kitson booking in the second half!

You serious?

Debatable whether it should have been a sending off. Hand ball outside his box in the second half.

A handball outside the box by the goalkeeper is not an automatic sending off despite what some will have you believe, quite correctly a yellow card was given. Never a danger of it being red card with it not stopping an obvious goalscoring opportunity.

OH!!! I saw it... just didn't see the card come out...
From Row C in R32 I couldn't actually see that he was outside the box. I assumed he jumped for it but just landed near/on/just over the line.
