Royalee Hunt - 5: Dreadful other than the pass for Gunnarsson's goal - didn't give Shorey any options down the left, didn't win many challenges, use of the ball overall was poor.

Royalee Hahnemann - 6: Didn't do anything wrong and his distribution was alright. Then again he still conceded two goals.
Shorey - 6: Lost the ball for the winner and couldn't really get forward as much as he would like as he was given no support on the wing. Other than that, he had a typical Shorey game, tried to use the ball well, etc.
Duberry - 6: Looked a bit shakey before he had to go off.
Ingimarsson - 8: Had a superb game at the back - marshalled the defence well and didn't put a foot wrong all day.
Gunnarsson - 7: Poor first half in which he played a major part in us conceding. However, his second half performance was outstanding and he'd have got a 9 from me if he'd played like that all game.
Hunt - 5: Dreadful other than the pass for Gunnarsson's goal - didn't give Shorey any options down the left, didn't win many challenges, use of the ball overall was poor.
Harper - 5: Weak and fairly ineffective yet again - we really do look vulnerable when teams run at us at the moment and he's as big a reason as any for that. Also played far too deep.
Sidwell - 6: Didn't stand out or take the game by the scruff of the neck, but then again he didn't get walked all over like Harper.
Oster - 6: Didn't do anything to justify giving him a new contract, but then again our whole midfield was pretty poor, he tried to make himself available and use the ball effective. He deserves a few more chances yet.
Kitson - 6: Possibly guilty of trying to over-complicate things and I don't think he's playing at anywhere near his best at the moment. He isn't chasing or going into challenges as much as he used to and maybe it's because of the lack of Premiership games in a row there have been since his return. However, getting a feel for the ball and getting fully up to speed is difficult when you're given no service.
Doyle - 6: Again, not at his best but was given no service. Looked a bit sharper than Kitson, but then again he hasn't been out for anywhere near as big a length of time.
Subs:
Bikey - 5: Got caught out of position far too much (including possibly the winner). Having said that, he needs games and he's certainly a better prospect than Duberry. I think his positional play went backwards from his previous run of games as he was left out for a while (and possibly also because Murty wasn't there to instruct him).
Lita - 6: Didn't really have enough of a chance to show what he can do. I thought it was a poor decision to leave him out to be honest as his all round play's still been up there even since he's stopped scoring.

And yet Chris Kamara was at the game and on Goals on Sunday he was raving about what an amazing game Hunt had.
The great thing about footy is how different people view it. Its why pub conversations are so lively!

Chaney Sorry Ryalee but you say Gunnar was poor in the 1st then you give him a 7 but say he deserved 9, he was decent yes, but people are forgetting it was him and Bikey who failed to notice Kuyt coming in at the far post for the winner..christ Stevie Wonder could have seen that coming
