I never thought I would see the day when European competition was 'below' Reading fans. Shocking

I don't think anyone is saying (or even implying) that European competition is 'below' them. Although I am in full agreement with shades that I would prefer it if we didn't get into the UEFA cup next year, for pretty much the reasons that have been expressed so well by others on this thread.

Boston Royal ... break the 105 points record. Had we not done so, it wouldn't have mattered too much: the season would have still been excellent. But we aimed and we got it. The final games of the season did matter. We didn't get 100 goals, and Coppell and the fans aren't too disappointed about it, but at least we actively tried.

Speak for yourself - I'm still bl**dy p*ss*d off that we fell one goal short of being the first team to get 100 points and 100 goals.

I would prefer us not to play in Europe - think of the policing bill to control Johnny Foreigner when he comes over seeking the blood of the feelthy Eenglish.
