Arch I can't believe that some people on here are so jaded that they even manage to sneer at Doyle being on the list.

Wycombe Royal No, it should be for young players (ie under a certain age when the season starts) regardless of how many appearances they have made in the Premiership before..
Wycombe Royal Oh, hang on, that is the criteria already...
Wycombe Royal Both Lennon and Richards have also made a significant number of Premiership appearances before this season, and Doyle was not under 22 when the season started.

Why ?
There is nothing special about a 22 year old with 150 appearances playing well - he can go for the main award.
If you have a second award then make sure it is for a very different set of criteria. Young players with no previous experience deserve special recognition and 'Young Player' awards for thelikes of Rooney are pointless.

Indeed, hence the suggestion that they should be different.

So ?

Matty Taylor is 25, not sure if that still qualifies him as 'young' I would guess it doesn't.Huntley & PalmerspickroyalHuntley & Palmer He doesn't stand a sniff. I'm even surprised he has been nominated
Have to agree. Whilst it must be an honour for him to be nominated, he is arguably bottom of that list. Hmmm, maybe not quite bottom, I think Richards is a little overated personally.
How old is Matty Taylor? Does he still qualify as 'young'

Coppelled Streets As we did with the Fed poll - email the link to everyone in your address book and ask them to do the same and so on.
Doyle can win this yet!
