Barry the bird boggler He also said to expect movement in and out in the Central Defensive area in the close season...
And that will just be Bikey trying to work out where he should be!

Behindu Given the fact that they are 'negotiating' suggests we are looking to either pay less than that or build some stages into the payment. We had a buy price as part of the loan deal.
I think he will sign as I suspect he will just tell Moscow he's not going back and they will look to get the best deal they can.
I predict we pay a million up front and then extras based on appearances.

Just shows how clueless Howe is.
Alad - more clueless than a clueless thing !
Well lets think about this for a moment. we took 35k to wembley in 95 when we had an average attendence of what? 13k? thats about 2 and a half times. so we're already looking at about 60k currently. add in the fact that plenty of people who want to go to games normally can't go, that adds say 10k. so plus 35k in total for big game syndrome.
95k.
100k isn't that far fetched for a one off game like that.

You're probably about right, but it depends who we're negotiating with, the club over the transfer fee or Bikey himself over his wages etc.

But that's the whole point, it wasn't a one-off game in the same way as our trips to Wembley. There is absolutely no way that 100,000 would have paid RFC's admission prices to watch Reading v Liverpool in an ordinary league game (regardless of whether they were Reading or Liverpool fans or neutrals). The suggestion that they would is laughable.
No wonder the stadium came in on budget if Mr Howe's estimates are that high!
