Vision Steve Death served the club for many years.
He holds a clean sheet record that still stands to this day.
He was the first keeper i ever saw from behind the goal at the Tilehurst End when i was a kid.
No contest for me. Steve Death , Reading's alltime No1

SpaceCruiser I've been thinking about whether the likes of Trevor Senior, Jimmy Quinn and Adrian Williams should even be nominated. This is a specialised position and the emergency keepers have only played a few minutes in their careers. So I'm afraid, I think the emergency keepers will have to be disqualified.
There must be a keeper pre-70's to nominate, surely? Any of the older posters willing to nominate a different keeper? What about the keeper of the 1927 era?

perhaps when u post the polls u could do a really short overview of each one's contributions, for posters not old enough to remember or not even born!
