No, it's not, we need 8 left wingers to make a poll. ;)

Gilkesy, with that electric pace I think given the chance he could have proved himself in the premiership.

That wouldn't be very democratic, it would be called vote rigging.

Well, he didn't do too bad last season.

Convey is certainly a worthy nomination...

Right winger was just as obvious a poll - no one even close to deserving the place beyond Little but as with all awards just making the 'list of nominations' will be seen as an honour by the former players so we owe it to them to compile th efull list.

I wouldn't say that, Scott Taylor could easily rival Little, seriously Convey has had 1 good season out of 3, Hunt

Gilkes IS the only candidate for this one.

You think Taylor rivals Little (which is wrong !), others think Convey rivals Gilkes.

There is enough room for debate on either position. Let the people decide !!!!

Berkshire Born I can't believe he didn't win that Football Sprint Challenge. He didn't even look like he was trying. Can't rememebr who did win now, though!

Keith Curle

As I've said before - John Williams

One player from each club entered a knock-out competition and I think Gilkes finished 2nd or 3rd. I thought the winner played for someone like Millwall or Cardiff?

He did finish 2nd, I'm sure.

I tried to find something via google about this, and could only manage this one: http://football.guardian.co.uk/news/the ... 85,00.html it's somewhere in the middle if you scroll down a bit.

Yes, the article did confirm it, but didn't say anything about whether Gilkes finished 2nd or 3rd. I guess nobody remembers the losers.

[Calm Mode On]
Gilkesy was second. He was quickest over the first 60 yards, but Williams caught him in the latter stages.
