Nope. I still haven't got a oxf*rd clue about this thread. I guess I must be thick, or just out of step with the youth of today. They used to teach English when I went to school.

weybridgewanderer
the edited subject In order to know how many supporters Reading has, why don't we arrange for all Reading supporters to turn up for a particular match even if they don't have a ticket. Perhaps the chosen game should be a big game at home

I doubt the 22000 that get in the stadium with a ticket would fit in the jazz cafe (would certainally be squeeze) never mind those that turn up that don't have a ticket for that particular game

anyone aware of any venue in reading that we could use on a match day that every supporter could get into with or without a match ticket?

It would also need to be "family friendly" as a lot of our support is under 18

The M4?

Dyslexia is no excuse for bad spelling.

Dear mr. picky

I would like to make a formal apology for the use of the word "dyslexic" in my last post. I was infact referring to the word which defines not being particularly skilled with spelling. I happen to know someone with this disability and Im dreadfully sorry for the misuse of the word.

Best wishes

Joe couldntgiveashit

I note Readingboy's location is Brighton.
Perhaps he's confused with what a large number of fans look like.

Surely our support wasn't so bad then that there was only 1 Royal using the place?

Assuming that my understanding of his proposal is correct; what do all of the fans without tickets do whilst the game is on? Go for a look around B&Q?

They would just mysteriously disappear in the same way that they materialised for the definitive count of all Reading fans ever to settle all arguments for all time.

I'd like to speak up for myself and my fellow exiles.

We'll turn up providing food is laid on and all our travel expenses are paid. By readingboy. Otherwise you can stick it.

PS don't try negotiating I've taken that into account and already dropped the requests for free beer and hookers to save time.
