Mrs Butler non at all...
Just make some up then like me.

Oh, I did sit opposite Trevor Senior for a curry, many other nobbers were there. I also had a chat to him about the first game I ever saw, He filled in the blanks. The man remembers every game in detail. He and Dean Horrix scored at home v Gillingham in 1987.

Oh and that one wasn't made up btw!

I had a chat once with Trevor Senior about my cousin who he played with and roomed with at Middlesbrough. He couldn't persuade him to join Reading though.

Old Biscuitman My grandfather played for Reading in the old Southern League.

Who he?

Pardew's kids went to same school in Newbury as my own. Sat next to the great man* a few times at school plays and the such.
(*great that is until he pissed off to West Ham)

I worked for Ted Hetzke at his garage in Newbury is the 70's. I didn't realise that son Steve was THE Steve Hetzke until he turned up on the forecourt one day.

I know Chris Seymour quite well and have the odd pint with him.

I know Paul Black even better.

RFC claims to fame;

My family use to be good friends with Dariusz Wdowczyk through the Polish community in Reading. Got free tickets regularly.

I got a lift back from Kevin Dillon from the Sheffield United Vs Reading game in October 2003.

I bought Leroy Lita a drink in TGI Friday's.

I'm on the 2001/2002 Promotion Video, seen running on the pitch at Peterbrough and celebrating away at Port Vale in 2001.

I'm going rather mental on the 2005/2006 Promotion DVD at Leicester, looking like a prick  I'm also seen on the pitch at the Derby home game in the same season.

I was on MOTD/Football First coverage at Man Utd away last season in the league, when we scored. Looked quite grumpy because some tosser behind me had wound me up.

I know former RFC Managing Director Mike Lewis's daughter. She still lives in the Reading area.

I'm on the end of season video after the Wigan playoff game, clearly seen slapping Matt Robinson on the back of his head during the pitch invasion.

I have Nathan Tyson's shirt from the playoff final in Cardiff, when he was an unused sub for Cheltenham Town, I held his medal whilst he took his shirt off to give to me.

I am in the Picture book from the Championship season at Stoke Away and have been in various pictures in the Evening Post over the years. OK, so the last ones crap, and we've all been in the papers at some point!!!

I once had a kickabout with Harps, Darius Henderson and Jamie Ashdown after training, all went on to become Premiership Footballers!

I think I'm in it for Stoke at home!

I've still not got round to watching our championship season dvd, but I may well be on that on the pitch invasion bit.

Just remembered that Steve Wood once asked me for my autograph.

It was tongue in cheek as I've never done anything that would make my signature of interest / value unless it was on a cheque.

He still asked though.

In Meridien TV coverage of Leicester promotion game, singing "by far the greatest team..."

Went to school with Lawrie Sanchez and played in same team in County Cup final at Elm Park

Shook hands with Maurice Evans

Spoke to James Harper in the Hotel and asked him why he didn't shoot more often. He said it was because the gaffer (Pardew) didn't like him to get too far forward.

Sat next to Mick Gooding at Michael Gilkes testimonial dinner.

Ended up between Karen & Graeme Murty in the queue for the breakfast buffet at the hotel on the day of the bus parade at end of championship winning season.

Worked there as Physio - 1998-2000.

Many appearances in the programmes, plus an embarrassing back page photo of me with Darius Henderson in the EP.
The rest of the team decided to throw water down my crotch just before the photo was taken, so that I look like I've either wet myself or creamed my pants while standing over Darius.
HiLOLarius.

I used to work as a physio assistant/on pitch assessor for the academy from 1999-2001. During my time there I also helped look after the U17 and U19 teams, working alongside Brian McDermott and Brendan Rodgers. Was the U14s physio asst when Simon Cox was in that group. Also got to work with the reserve team on several occasions, including the Reserve cup final where Nicky Shorey missed the decisive penalty. Remember in the dressing room at half time Pardew coming in and ABSOLUTLEY RIPPING them apart because they were losing and playing sh*t. Then later, he was stood in front of me at one point during the second half when one of our players mis-controlled the ball and it went out for a throw to Norwich, and I had to move to look around him. As the ball went out I 'tut'ted really loudly, and he turned round and gave me a right angry look because he thought I was having a go at him for being in the way!! That night I treated Barry Hunter and Darren Caskey.

During my time at the academy, got to chat with quite a few people, including Kevin Dillon (his twins were at the academy at that time) Mad Dog, Teddy Sheringham, Phil Parkinson.

I still keep my letter from then academy director Nick Hammond, thanking me for the two years work!

I was in Utopia  , and Caskey was trying to pull my bird.
He was in there with Swales, Mautone and Elroy Kromheer and Peter van der Kwaak!!.

Had a great chat with Gilksey at the premiership promotion celebration party in the After Dark. What a thoroughly nice guy he is!

I was once sat in TGI Friday in Reading with my girlfriend at the time, had just promised to not talk about football for five minutes, and in walk Barry Hunter and Jim McIntyre (who was absolutely w**kered) and sat on the table right next to me!!

Also got locked in a pub with Barry Hunter near Kings Cross on the way back from a game when the police closed some pubs down because some trouble had kicked off nearby.

And...
Got a postcard from Tommy Burns from the pre-season tour of Holland because I had planned to go with my mates, but work sent me on a course that I could not get out of, so my mates got him to write me a postcard taking the piss out of me for not being there.

and finally, had a good chat with John Madejski outside the Riverside Stadium on our first trip up there, and he took the piss out of a mate for being a bit 'overweight'.

Edited to add, I also once had season ticket number 3 on the South Bank. Always wanted to find out who had numbers 1 and 2!

I was the youngster on the pitch at moulienux when we played wolves in the playoffs and my uncle had to play the game of trying to score from various positions on the pitch.
