amdocsroyal
ElmParker Cheers, fella.

How do I use this with Sopcast? Do I need it open first or when I click play, will it open Sopcast for me? (I'm a technical retard, you see.)

It should open straight to Sopcast player. It doesnt for me tho ...so ..
If sopcast loads yet doesnt show the player screen then paste this url sop://202.190.75.149:3912/1007
into the 'address' and press the play the channel button..

Good luck

Tried that amdoc....says no peers to connect?

Last season I watched about 20 games this way. This season not a single one so far.

I just cannot get the new TV Ants to work. It always tells me my TV Ants is out of date. New download doesn't fix it. Guess I'm missing something technical...

For those exiles etc unable to get Liverpool game any other way there are plentyof live Streams for this one. I always use starsports (channel 6029 on sopcast) Good stream + English commentary.

Is this "TVAnts" thing safe to install, or is it going to infect my PC with all sorts of rubbish and spyware?

Had TV ants on both my PC's for about 2 years, never had a virus problem. Still i do use it through a router with a hardware firewall and I also use a software firewall, and check for spyware and virus every couple of weeks.

I would say its safe.

Normally, the feed improves as more people start streaming and downloading, so persevere. But yes, TVants is not as good as sopcast IMO

Drew_3 tv ants is awful! :(
True its not the best but it seems to be the only free stream available. To be fair ive had some good streams and some shite ones on ants.Beggars/choosers etc!Happy enough to listen live and get the odd delayed bit of feed buffering through if thats the way it pans out. Heres hoping

Agghh, they changed the channel!!! Streaming really nicely at 357KB/sec then you saw the bloke sourcing the feed play with their digibox and go onto something else!!! change it back!!!

PS - helps if you port forward 18600 on your router
