Arch Kitson? It's the same player we were watching in the Championship. The club should show some ambition and replace him with someone new.

2 world wars, 1 world cupbrighton_royal Great for Kits - he deserves a chance in the team.
Bad for us - he is destined to move on if he performs well.
I'm not so sure. Excellent for campaigns yes.... but his injury-proneness would make clubs think twice before splashing out fees and wages over a few years for his longer term services.
Plus being the best English striker sadly doesn't mean much thesedays!

Victor Meldrew Having put the same topic on here some 3 months ago (with some very mixed reponses at the time-I'll drag up those that said he would NEVER be picked just for a laugh if indeed he does get picked)I would join you others in being delighted if he is chosen for the squad let alone actually get a game.
I did like Ferguson's comments after our game last week about Kitson being a difficult player to deal with and maybe he mentioned the same to Capello.
If the dozy one gets a sentimental and unwarranted 100th cap will the commentary go something like"Beckham looks up and plays a long cross to Kitson....goal"-they then hug and reminisce about both being North London boys at heart and who would have thought that Beckham would ever have been good enough to play in the same side as our Dave.

WTF does all this injury-prone stuff come from?
Yes, he had two bad injuries but not loads of little ones

hiro Reading is still unknown team outside UK, but saying `the team which Kitson belong to` would work soon after.

hiro By the way, would Sainsbury do anything if Kitson actually become England International?
There is no doubt that working for Sainsbury's as a teenager has also coloured his approach to football. "I never understood because I was wearing the Sainsbury's clip-on tie with that uniform and the dodgy waistcoat, why somebody in a black suit could talk to me the way they did," said Kitson. "They treated you monstrously. You were abused every single day. It hardens you a little bit and I won't take any nonsense from anyone to this day."

Royal Rother England have been in dire need of some intelligence in its ranks for ages.
